Episode 19: “Thank God, It’s Doomsday”
Did the Simpson’s predict the Rapture in Episode 19? A film about the rapture convinces Homer the end of the world is near. He draws the rest of Springfield into his beliefs, only to be terribly disappointed when the chosen hour comes and nothing happens. At least that’s how the animates tory goes. In fact, I warn you, though the rapture is illustrated, the end of the story is not accurate.
