Prayer has been a fundamental aspect of human existence for centuries. It serves as a means of communication between individuals and a higher power. Many believe that God hears the prayers of all people, regardless of their beliefs or actions. However, there is a particular belief that God specifically hears the prayers of those who fear Him.
In prayer, most people assume that God is somehow obligated to hear them pray. Of course anyone can just pick-up the spiritual phone and call God right? Wrong! Read on to understand why many tragedies take place with prayers that go unanswered.
Prayer From A Person Who Rejects the Gospel
How would you feel if someone who never wants anything to do with you, suddenly call you for help expecting you to show up to their rescue?
Scriptures says that if a person continues to reject or turn away from hearing the Law (Gospel, Word, etc.) God will consider his/her prayers an abomination. God will literally find their prayers an insult!
“If a person will not listen to Torah (The Scriptures Preached), even his prayer is an abomination.”
Proverbs 28:9
Is this right for Him to do? Well would you listen to a person who ignores you? Why should He? Because He’s God? Well because He is “God” and He is “a God” He has every legal right to ignore whom He pleases!
Will God Ignore Your Prayer & Laugh Your Trouble?
According to scripture, not me, God not only will ignore those who ignore Him when He called and sent warning to them, but He also reserves to right to laugh at them when their trouble comes:
24 Because you refused when I called, and no one paid attention when I put out my hand,
25 but instead you neglected my counsel and would not accept my reproof (warning & rebuke);
26 I, in turn, will laugh at your distress, and mock when terror comes over you
27 yes, when terror overtakes you like a storm and your disaster approaches like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble assail you.
28 Then they will call me, but I won’t answer; they will seek me earnestly, but they won’t find me.
Proverbs 1:24-28 CJB
Pray: God Hears Those Who Fear Him
The fear of God can be seen as a form of reverence and respect towards His divine power. This fear is not a paralyzing terror, but rather an acknowledgement of His greatness and authority. When individuals approach God with this mindset, they are more inclined to pray with humility and sincerity. This level of reverence creates a deeper connection between the person and God, making their prayers more likely to be heard.
For example, in the Bible, the book of Proverbs states, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). This verse suggests that fear is a foundational aspect of an individual’s spiritual journey. By fearing God, one acknowledges His power and seeks wisdom and understanding. This fear-based reverence can lead to a more profound connection with God, resulting in prayers being heard.
Conclusion
So as you see the world continue to ignore God’s Law and create their own laws, do not be surprised if God does not answer during the next hurricane, earthquake, or tornado. I can list many of “terrors” He will allow, but you get the point.
Let’s Pray
“Heavenly Father forgive us for ignoring your Word and ignoring the Gospel of the End Time, Your Return, etc. Hear my voice as I hear Yours. In Jesus name Amen.”
